Annie Mehan Brings Hope and New Perspective

RS EDEN will host a presentation on April 19th by Annie Meehan, certified life coach, author, advocate, and professional speaker. (Lunch provided – location TBD)

For a long time, Annie Meehan felt she was worthless. She thought that she would never be able to escape the cycle of neglect, poverty, and negativity that she had grown up in. But even in the darkest times, she knew, deep inside, that she was created for more. Annie uses her story of survival to show others how to take the suffering of the past and mold it into a ladder that will lead to freedom.

Annie presented at Portland Village last month and has been begged to return due to her engaging, accessible, and inspirational story telling.

Annie is the author of the inspirational journal Paths, Detours, & Possibilities and has been a guest on Twin Cities Live and Oprah. Her new book, Be the Exception: Your 7 Steps for Transformation has been characterized as “honest, inspiring and at times gut-wrenching, but it delivers life lessons that teach us all to be more authentic” by Joe Schmit of KSTP-TV. In it, you will find stories to guide you through the tough times. It will teach you how to let go of anger and resentment, how to love yourself, and how to grow into the person you dream of being.
