April is Second Chance Month

Join us for Prison Fellowship's annual Second Chances 5K on April 23rd in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The 5K raises awareness for those in need of a second chance. 65 million Americans have a criminal record. These Americans face a widespread social stigma and more than 44,000 documented legal restrictions. With limited access to education, jobs, housing, and other things necessary for a full and productive life, they enter a “second prison” of barriers that can seem insurmountable.

In order to create change, Prison Fellowship is declaring this April Second Chance Month—a whole month dedicated to the spiritual and social restoration of the formerly incarcerated.

Randy Anderson an alumni and now program counselor for RS EDEN/Eden House Men's Recovery Services will be speaking at the event. He hopes his story of struggle and recovery will inspire others—in and out of prison—to believe that no life is beyond restoration.
