How We Work Toward Our Vision
Our comprehensive and integrated continuum of services focuses on the whole person, whole family, and whole community, as we offer unique and individualized supports.
Supportive Housing
We provide safe, stable, and affordable housing for individuals and families experiencing housing instability, recovery, or reentry. Our housing programs reduce barriers and support long-term stability through a range of housing options paired with supportive services.
We offer permanent supportive housing, transitional housing, and housing with services, along with case management and connections to health care, employment, and community resources. Our housing environments prioritize dignity, safety, and community as the foundation for growth and independence.
Substance Use Treatment
Comprehensive substance use disorder treatment for men and women, supporting individuals at every stage of recovery.
Our services include 24/7 Withdrawal Management, Residential Treatment, and Outpatient Treatment, delivered through evidence-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered approaches.
We integrate clinical care with peer support and recovery services to promote safety, stability, and long-term recovery.
Community Reentry
Supports individuals returning to
the community after incarceration by addressing the critical needs that impact successful reentry.
Our reentry services focus on housing stability, treatment access, care coordination, and community connection, helping individuals navigate systems, reduce barriers, and build pathways toward long-term success.
We partner closely with corrections, health care, and community organizations to ensure continuity of care and support during this transition.
Mental Health Services
RS EDEN’s Mental Health and Trauma Recovery Program builds capacity to strengthen individuals and families, supports healing and growth, and aims to bring quality mental health services to every member of our community, regardless of background.

Since 1971, RS EDEN has been rooted in a simple but enduring belief: people deserve support, dignity, and a real chance to rebuild their lives.
What began as early efforts to respond to community needs has grown over decades into a comprehensive network of services across the Twin Cities metro. RS EDEN’s history includes longstanding leadership in substance use disorder treatment and residential programming for individuals exiting incarceration, as well as the expansion of affordable, low-barrier housing options for people who have experienced homelessness and other significant barriers.
As community needs have evolved, so has RS EDEN. Today, we are a multi-faceted human service organization serving individuals and families of all ages. Our work spans supportive housing, recovery services, mental health supports, and other essential programs designed to strengthen wellbeing and restore stability.
