Over the past several months, the RS EDEN executive team has partnered closely with the Board to advance a shared leadership model that strengthens our mission for the long term. Today, we are pleased to announce that Alicia House has been selected as Co-CEO, joining Jessie Johnson in this new, collaborative structure. Alicia will be starting at RS EDEN in October.

About her new role, Alicia said, “I am truly excited to join RS EDEN and to begin this journey alongside such a dedicated and passionate team. Together, I look forward to building on the incredible work already being done and finding new ways to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.”

Alicia is a passionate advocate, dedicated to supporting individuals and communities affected by substance use. She has spent the past nine years working to advance prevention, recovery, and wellness efforts while building strong partnerships to create lasting change. For the last five years, she has served as Executive Director at Steve Rummler HOPE Network in St. Paul, and previously was the Director of Outreach at Northstar Behavioral Health. Alicia currently serves on the Washington County Opioid Settlement Advisory Council and The Ramsey County Community Health Services Advisory Committee.

In our Co-CEO model, Alicia will lead with an external focus, advancing organizational sustainability, leadership resilience, and innovation while Jessie will continue to focus on internal operations, programs, and people. Together, they embody the complementary strengths our organization needs to serve effectively today and to build confidently for tomorrow.

From the Chair of the RS EDEN Board, Raja Chaudhuri:

“At RS EDEN, we believe strong leadership is shared leadership. Elevating a Co-CEO model deepens our bench, safeguards continuity, and reflects the collaborative values we champion across all our services. With Alicia House and Jessie Johnson, we are uniting proven operational excellence with bold, outward-facing advocacy. This is a forward-looking step anchored in equity, resilience, and innovation for the communities we serve.”

From Co-CEO Jessie Johnson:

“Alicia brings a fresh perspective to RS EDEN and a track record of partnership, awareness-building, and effective advocacy for meaningful change. I’m confident we will be an effective team, pairing internal excellence with external impact to better serve our clients, partners, and community.”

Shared leadership and shared vision are at the heart of RS EDEN’s team-based culture and integrated approach. Adopting a Co-CEO structure is a bold affirmation of who we are: mission-driven, people-centered, and collaborative.

Please join us in welcoming Alicia House to RS EDEN. We look forward to working with our partners, supporters, and community to accelerate impact, together.
